Real veneer highlights awaited the trade visitors such as buyers, engineers, architects, interior designers and product designers. In addition to an ergodynamic daybed made of veneer that recently received an award, the stand visitors were also able to marvel at unique veneer ceiling panels. In particular, visitors from the Asia region showed active interest in the book-shaped lamps with a spine made of veneer, which hung from the ceiling above the stand. Finally, the veneer floor, a veneer pillar ensemble and a wall made of sound absorbing veneer panels produced enthusiastic responses and interesting discussions.
The IFN is an internationally active association with members in Switzerland, Slovenia, Slovakia, Estonia, Austria, Belgium and Germany, which pays particular attention to highlighting the ecological and individual qualities of veneer. Potential association members were able to examine an overview of the current IFN member companies at a summary board with the company logos. In addition, thanks to the information material provided, they were able to see for themselves the varied activities and services of the association.
Last Thursday, the association finally invited people to its traditional interzum party. The some 150 guests experienced a pleasant and leisurely evening in a relaxed atmosphere and used the get-together to renew old contacts and to make new ones. “Due to the good response to our stand, the IFN will be presenting itself to the public again at the next interzum in two years”, concluded Geismann. Exhibits from and with wood veneer attracted many visitors: IFN stand at the interzum was a complete success
Bad Honnef. From 21 to 24 May 2019, Initiative Furnier + Natur e. V. (IFN) presented itself with a stand at the interzum in Cologne, the world's leading event for furniture production and interiors.
