It is also always highly individual for floor lamps, wall lamps and pendant lamps because its design is always unique. No veneer sheet is exactly the same as another. "For more and more people, the ecological quality of veneer is also attractive. As a renewable and sustainable raw material, it scores points thanks to its unobtrusive and resource-saving production, its naturalness, compostability and CO2 storage," explains Ursula Geismann, Managing Director of Initiative Furnier + Natur (IFN) e.V. "Veneer lamps have a harmonious appearance and provide relaxing light in rooms illuminated by them. Veneers of oak, maple, walnut or olive, for example, are used for the lamps, which always have a different lighting effect. The design is usually simple, because veneer stands alone and only needs a little electrical engineering as a luminaire.

The Initiative Furnier + Natur (IFN) e.V. was founded in 1996 by the German veneer industry and its partners. Today, it is supported by European companies from the veneer industry, trade and veneer processing industry as well as professional associations of the timber industry. The aim of the association is to promote the natural all-round material veneer.
