Petite Friture:
Fine ALPI veneer gives chair series "Fromme" chair series that special something

Bonn/Montreuil. The natural material veneer looks good in all situations in life: whether in the car, in leisure and hobbies or in and around the living and working areas. The veneered chair variants in the "Fromme" series from the French company Petite Friture, based in Montreuil, are a great product for many occasions. The Petite Friture brand was founded in 2009 by Amélie du Passage and has been synonymous with sensual design and subtle sophistication ever since. Special veneer as a natural surface goes very well with the always appealing design of the modern label.

The Canadian industrial designer Tom Chung is responsible for the basic design of the Fromme chairs in the "Chair", "Lounge Armchair" and "High Stool" versions. In his work, the creative designer focuses mainly on industrial objects and interiors. The chair he designed is characterized by slender lines and a compact design - basic attributes that literally call out for further visual and tactile enhancement through a natural and unique veneer surface. This is now provided by the lively ALPILignum veneer from Italy, which is distributed in Germany by IFN member HWB-Furniere & Holzwerkstoffe from Bad Salzuflen. The wonderfully grained material from the forest makes each of these chairs an eye-catcher with a unique guarantee. "Veneer is a real all-rounder. What it does with the chair series offered by Petite Friture definitely makes the hearts of furnishers beat faster," says Ursula Geismann, Managing Director of Initiative Furnier + Natur and long-time trend consultant, and concludes: "Anyone who buys furniture veneered with fine wood loves individuality and has the idea of sustainability firmly in mind."
