Initiative Furnier + Natur: “FurnierGeschichten” reach 1.8 million people on Facebook
Bad Honnef. The “FurnierGeschichten” (veneer stories) campaign of Initiative Furnier + Natur (IFN) continues on its successful course in the social media. Since the campaign started, more than 1.8 million people have been reached on Facebook at www.facebook.com/Furniergeschichten. VeneerStories tells about people and their love and passion for a unique material, the natural product veneer. “The huge response to our campaign shows that many consumers are enthusiastic about veneer as a material”, says the IFN Chairman of the Board, Axel Groh.
During the past twelve months the number of VeneerStories fans on Facebook has risen rapidly once again. More than 3,320 veneer admirers are currently following the campaign on Facebook. Most fans are based in Germany, but the VeneerStories have long since found a worldwide fan community. Several veneer admirers can even be found in far distant countries such as Peru, Indonesia and Taiwan. All in all, over 180 posts have already been published on Facebook as part of the campaign. The post with the largest reach was a post in Spanish on veneered lamps. It alone reached more than 280,000 people.
The campaign is also very popular on YouTube. In total, the films produced as part of the VeneerStories campaign have already been viewed more than 270,000 times. In only three months, the German version of most recent film about veneer floors was viewed more than 10,000 times and the English version more than 5,100 times. IFN/RK
